After a really nice flight, I have to say that I was on a perfect seat just to look trough the window and see everything from the air, spanish coast, french coast…the “english channel”…we call it (canal de la mancha), and an incredible view of london.

A little bit hungry, we reached the university and took place in our confortable rooms at stamner house.
I was looking forward to start the lesson at sussex. On the first day, I was really amazed of the beauty of the campus, really green grass carpeted. Some advices from Melanie Suppel We talked about ourselves to know experiences at school and made some funny and useful meeting people games like “decide who’s coming to dinner”.

We’re going on very well with Tom, the teacher, and until now, we’ve received some interesting lectures (specially one about the history of Brighton…taking into consideration that I have my degree in History and I love it). Welcome to new webs to use at school! We found out Dictogloss. Great!

Hard to learn and sing “the grand old duke of york” all together. Useful pronunciation exercices to be adapted to our pupils. Yesterday we went to Brighton with Nick, it was fine, we visited the Royal Palace, the lanes…very good weather and some shopping at sainsbury just for dinner (we can,t eat outside everyday…). Watch out the seagulls, Elena was quietly having lunch and suddenly a seagull picked up her sandwich!..what a boo!
